Celebration@Yishun

Hi there!
NDP stands for National Dog Parade! or so Fa Cai says.

From afar we could see many have already gathered.

Business was good, judging from the crowd, but not quite according to Dad, because people were just sitting and idling around after just buying some drinks.

Ahh. We Spotted the Fireworks!

A sea of Red. and White in the background, to make the Singapore flag.

Some Choir members entertaining the crowd.

Dancers practising before their turn. Old and Young alike!

Moving on, i saw a group of Malay traditional dancers.

And i saw this man trying to teach a boy how to juggle the "yo-yo" like play-thingy.

MPs! My mum went gaga over Mr Ong Ah Heng. "Boy ah! Take his picture quick. Heh.

Not long after a car stopped near us and this girl, whom i later found out to be Khaw Chun Ting, stepped out and started shaking their hands, followed shortly by the other family members. She, according to Sis, is from her next door class and in AJ squash, and shes MOH's daughter.
Royalty!
Well to be sure i caught her attention i stood there and sure enough, she glanced over. That look! I was quite sure that the information captured in her recepticals was converted into bouts of anxiety proclaiming i was her prince charming, but then again i was more sure that light had somehow passed through opaque me, and what she saw was the big giant Yo-yo at my 6 o'clock.

The first booth i came to was the RSAF booth.

Then moving on closer to Yishun 10, there were these playground like balloons for kids. And Reverse Bungee! One kid tried and he didnt manage 3 stories.

The weapons shooting gallery. They used blanks and the TES (Technical electronic system i think) to project flight of bullet like the ones i used in ATEC Thailand. Surprisingly the firing of blanks were soft.

There we are, Animal targets in the Jungle. (For kids i guess)

Ahhh. This was the Giant Yoyo i was talking about. The one that could reflect gamma ray and somehow converted them into visible light.

I happened to chance upon these group of Inline Skaters when there were performing.

I took quite a long video, but their performance was nothing special, albeit all their skills on blades.

Then i saw this officer helping this little girl familiarise herself with a military vehicle. Hmmm.

Where else? Of cause at the SAF Engineers booth.

There was even a rock climbing section. Those are civilian untrained kids mind you.

Moving on there is the SCDF, Singapore Civil Defence Force.

And we have a small kid here learning how to spray water. Great.

What so interesting about this piece of metal that goes on land and water anyway?

If that wasn't interesting, this would be worse.

Ahh. Lastly the Army Logistics. I was wearing my white Commander's Logistics polo-Tee.

Big man on stilts! Beat 'em up. What some people attempted to do anyway.

This guy must be wondering what the hell am i doing going around taking photographs. Even of his kite. Well heres the answer. Its for my blog!

Some Indian dancers performing.

I was back at base! Fa Cai obviously missed me =)
And thereafter i saw Hui Min! Never expected to see her, then i didnt realise she was with some AMB people, and i actually saw through Joshua. Who would notice a guy anyway.

Fighters! Hmm. My camera is lousy dont mind the small planes.

Finally the sun sets. A nice picture here if i might say.
The end of the day's sunny events, and the night will be next.
Fireworks up next, at around 8.15pm. Catch them here
Up next we had performances and stuff. Highlight of the night. Twins! OMG. My favourite! Well not exactly but Gillian is pretty! Cant say much about her character though.

Lousy pictures i took, unlike my Dad's
Mobile Column driving past. They even demonstrated a fire fighting, but somehow even after they left the fire refused to go. I felt that was a lil. er. *Johnny Depp voice* Wierd.

Tanya Chua!

And Boring Nicholas Tse. zzzz. ^^
Thats all. I went home at 10 plus. And nope. We had no fate this time round i didnt see you =)
